During these horrific times (and for various reasons), these immensely difficult times, the COVID-19 pandemic permitted overwhelming amounts of creative output and gifts from artists all over the world. Sayings like “when the going gets tough, the tough get going” takes on a new meaning, as artists join frontline healthcare workers and all essential workers in supporting those of us who were impacted by the virus.
From all realms of the entertainment world, artists are blooming like spring flowers of genius, performing live in their living rooms and bedrooms, opening their hearts and their homes to everyone on the planet! They gave us all a sense of unity. So yes, we were all “together at home.” Artists were there for us, to lift us and remind us of hope, beauty, and the brilliance of humanity. Truly amazing yet while we endure bittersweet times, these artists are helping to raise awareness and provide information and support to millions of people in need.
